Melanie Moore and five kids just died
people i forgot to mention..that this incident took place in Amelia's Ward Linden..our public spirited citizens tried their best to break the iron grills to get the family out..but did not get through..all the doors and windows had iron grills on them..so it difficult to get the family out..i'm sure by monday you'll get a better update..from guymine.com..because i saw one of their members on the scene taking pictures.

Melanie Moore and five kids just died
I would like to be the first to send out Condolences to Melanie Moore's husband..Mark Moore whom tragedy stuck..Melanie is an overseas based Guyanese..who returned from Brookly about two weeks ago to bring her five kids..with ages ranging from 10yrs to 1yr11months..a fire broke out in their home this morning..and because of the iron bars that is right around the home..they couldn't get a chance to get out of the house..so Melanie and her five kids perished in the blaze..her husband is in Brooklyn..he did not come home with them.
So once again my deepest sympathy to the Moore's and Gonsalves family.

Don't ever forget your home town
Wazzup my Linden family. Its not until youve migrated then you realize how much impact your country had on your life. A lot of people migrate and forget their heritage or where they came from. Lifes one big journey, and its not about what you drive, but the road you take to the right and final destination, and the beginning is just as important as the end, so remember your beginning and where you came from. Love your country for it goods and it bads, cuz it could be worse.....

My fellow Guyanese Remember to keep praying for our Nation and God will see us through for He said in His Word If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray & turn from their wicked ways & purpose to seek My Face then will I hear from Heaven & heal their Land! It doesn't matter who wins the elections remember that God is the Govenor of oue Lives our Nation and this world! Cease not to Pray and He will see us through!

Bharrat Jagdeo win again
THE New York-based NACTA group, which has accurately forecast previous elections results here and in the Caribbean, is predicting a landslide victory for the incumbent President Bharrat Jagdeo at Mondays elections.
In a press release yesterday, it said its latest tracking poll shows Mr. Jagdeo coasting to a landslide victory over his five opponents, leading his nearest rival by 21%.

I now leave the site to the simple minded individuals to fight and chit chat about sweet nothings and God help you guys with the elections, you are not wise enought to pick a President who will benefit the mass and help our youths to make a better Guyana.
Good Luck All.

Hi positive people go out and let that vote count.

Vote for the party you feel has the vision for the country.

Dont waste your vote on some party that cannot even get there family members to vote for them. Let that vote speak. Your vote has value, use it wisely.

Don't forget to carry your elderly neighbors/s to and from the pooling stations.

Please let us have a peaceful election.

Stay Positive.

Disheartned
It's very dishearting to see this wonderful site being used by Lindeners to launch personal attacks against each other, while you continue to live in a state of scum and litter, and poverty. Your fight should not be with each other but rather with the forces that be. why not use all of that anger and channel it into electing a totally new vision for Guyana and more specifically, Linden.

How dare you try to clean stuff up. You are the one that wrote this. This is utter disrespect for the Rodneys...my family per se. So..don't you try to save your face now...you wrote this...
Nan
To: Mr. Rodney
Brian Rodney,
I thought you were a sensible person. Knowing you are young and you used to sound 'level headed', but I was so wrong in my judgement of you. I am now seeing your true colors. You are a very ignorant individual and I hope you try to better yourself and try to elevate your standards intellectually. You will be the first in your family to do something with yourself.

Sorry Brian Rod, the statement was meant for the person impersonating you
Success can be measured by a persons outlook on life, not necessarily by the degrees they have or what the family has. Sophistication has to do with self esteem and a persons ability to rise above the little things in life. The ability to get up when we are knocked down and the ability to be silent and learn from others mistakes and not make the same mistakes our selves.
Cursing one out about their mother and stuff shows how simple minded you can be and how unsophisticated you are without even realizing it.
