I would like to take a moment to acknowlege and sympathize with the Parkinson's family of Poker Street Sand Road and his late wife's family. "Leroy", I know it's hard for you and your family to get accustomed to your precious wife's death, but in all of this, you must acknowlege God because he knows best, and your wife is in a better place. It's okay to cry and mourn, so you must go through that phase, but in the end you must continue to give God praise and thanks. I will remember you and your family in my prayers. Be strong at all times.

Pay-For-A-Spot
If what I am reading is correct, then I truly agree with the organizers for the Linden Town Week. This event is not only a time for showcasing Linden, but also to generate funds for future use. (Note - NOT PERSONAL USE). So if there is a fee for a spot, let us pay. If the cost is ridiculous, then we have a problem. Linden people should be given a different price from the out-of-towners. In closing, the businesses on Republic Avenue, do they have to pay for that SPOT? Just asking. lol

I hope when the Linden Town Week committee decides to hand out its awards, it will remember all of those young people who have been making positive contributions to the town and who have been developing themselves and country in the process. They are alot of Lindeners doing pretty well around the country and they should be recognised and honoured...not the regulars, year in and year out

To the town council
Last year the Linden Town Day was managed by an Organizing Committee, who did so under the Auspices, of the Linden Town Council, although the events of the last Town Day did not generate much cash, the general interest was there from those who supported it. The municipality to date is yet to deliver a financial report to the public. Members of the organizing committee are also still trying to find out, how much money was generated lat year, so for this year town week one should be made public, so has to make the bidding for the franchise more competitive, next year.
