Keep the LOVE Lindeners
Hello Guyanese/Lindenites,
I am just taking some time this Sunday to see what is going on in my home town and I am very disturbed reading some of the mail from Guyanese/Lindeners about the attitude of some of their people. Let me say to you now in love and I hope this will add some comfort to those who allow others attitude to affect them. Don't woory, be happy. You see sometime it take just a little to make someone hateful and that is because they had a hard life and they are not too 'bright' and also they have not acheive a whole lot, so it takes just a little to make them 'high'. If you have, you know it and you don't have to make that big effort to show it, it just shows. So be sorry for them, don't allow too much hate to ruin your existence.
I am here in my home in Brooklyn and I know exactly what you are talking about. If it takes just come here to New York and anywhere outside of our country to make them feel good, then good for them, but there are some to us, who empathize with whatever problems there is at home and all we want to do is something positive in order to make a difference. Keep loking up Lindeners and pay no attention to those who are visiting and trying to make you all look like shit, beleive me, many of you are doing a lot better than many of them. Let them have fun and when they return, there will be Mr. BILL waiting for them and they better PAY him or they will be begging you very soon for help. Here is Great, there is a lot of opportunity for everyone, but if you do not have a plan, you are worst that those back home, because you have something is your hands and you are not making anything of it. I am happy that I went to school and earn my degree, I bought a home and I try my uthmost best to share what little I have back home. I give to less fortuinate kids and adults, but I do not publicize it, I am not doing it for fame, but for love and as long as I have strength and life, I will continue to do it. So love to the LINDEN Clan and Keep on Keeping on. My prayers will always be with you, because you make a difference for us here. We are never home in another mans land, citizen or not, we will always be Guyanese. We cannot be thrown out of where we came from, remember everyone and if you get the opportunitey one day to come here, do not forget what you feel from the hateful ones, make a difference and you will see, it will feel good, because I do.

I have often read with great interest many of the post on this site. The collective focus should be on each of us to make this town that gave many of us our roots a better place.It is against this backdrop that we must make the town week more than a fun time and to seek to build bridges with many in the diaspora, so that our monies and energies can retrieve the town from its current state.
With all that we celebrate, let us also focus on the state of our library etc. I am told that in such a large town the library has only one computer, now we can do better. So let us not be defined by big parties, football and passa passa, there has to be a greater destiny for us
The people of this town are some of the best human beings I have experienced around the world. A very proud people with drive and a fervent desire to succeed in all of our pursuits. Outsiders and those who have no interest in seeing us as a people succeed, will ever provide help.
Let us find time in building the town and our people up, rather than tearing them down. We must only seek to look down on anyone, unless in the desire of lifting them up.

I am more of Wismar and later Linden than any of you. Anonynity is good sometimes. I will reveal my name, authority and position in Linden when I see the document outlining the sustaining good this "week of celebration" brings THE REAL PEOPLE OF LINDEN.
You foreigners have a way out. We are the ones suffering and that is exactly my point. This celebration is very temporary. When all is said and done, we are the ones left to suffer because we do not have any opportunities to pursue better here...while the opportunists that organized this gone back to their beautiful homes outside Guyana or outside Linden. I know you do not want to hear this but it is the truth and you need to think about it before giving the impression that you did not learn to think although you were educated likeI was in Linden.

I have to say that some people posing as Lindeners are really friends of the bad guys only trying to start a smear campaign against the true and conscious voices of Linden. People from all over the world are visiting this site because of the upcoming lad Sharma and the great and indomitable voice of Norman Brown. For this season it is only them that matters. This is important. Norman left the site for about a week and people were begging him to come back. What are you talking about Lindener? Why do you hate this guy so. I guess you see in him what you should have been. What your track record other than negativity. Who is paying you to dis norman. You do not even have the courage to put your own name. Sit down on yourself and stop being a coward or find a job or even do something for linden How dare you dis the webmaster, these guys are big and contributing, man. We see your scheme and know your plot. Stop posing as a lindener, this discussion is too big for you. Big up, webmaster Sharma and the real norman.

Hallelujah!!
Regardless of what Linden does and doesn't have it's nice to see that they're still praising God and rejoicing in him. The concert pictures are amazing. I could feel the energy as my fellow Lindeners rejoiced in the Lord.I wish I could have been there. God has a plan for Linden but he also said seek and ye shall find.God bless you all!!
