Patience
Will the true patient readers of Guymine.com please stand up.
I appreciate this site. I see names that I would never have remembered as long as I live. To say the site sucks and so on is so non productive. We can always tune out of this site if we do not like it. Pictures are a bonus and the webmaster does not live in Guyana so he relies on other people to provide them.

Sexual abuse of minors
I'm happy this subject has gotten readers attention. Honestly it's is a major problems we're face with as a nation and there isn't enought being done to protect our kids. I know what I'm talking about, trust me. Those parents who are not luisteren and protecting those PREV should be hold accounted also. I was born in Guyana didn't live there for a long time 11 years of my life, but it was hell those who I trusted most hurt me; My parent wasn't able to protect me, no fault of they own. Since I left I went back once, when my dad was dying. The most wonderful man I have ever know; Those who hurt me I know them by face and name; I promise when I become older I will confrount them which I've started doing. My point I'm now a mom if anything or anyone regardless who it is, hurt my child It would be a sad day in HELL for that person.
This need to stopt IN and OUT of the homes, these PREV's are destroying lives. We need to work together to stopt this.

Lifetime Channel
I would be happy if my fellow lindeners would be able to see The Lifetime channel, The WE channel, they would learn exactly what is happening around the world and in some places in Guyana. These kids and women need more exposure . May be the library might have books too about the dangers that lurk around us. We need more guidance. If some one touches you in inappropiately tell someone you can trust, a teacher, the pastor. Let your voices be heard. So many women and children get a beating from their spouse and parents and cry in silence.

Sexual abuse in Guyana.
Thanks to thse person who brought up this issue. This thing has been going on for a long time but was not spoken about. Many women you see out there who are promiscuious and do not have respect for their bodies were interferred with as children.Parents sometimes are to blame because many of them have partners who are abusing their children and to hold to their relationship they keep quiet. I know of two examples of stories of these, right in Linden. One of the ladies told me the whole scenario when she got older, it was her own step-father and this was a christian home and the mother refuse to believe her. Many of times it is family members doing it to the young and vulnerable. Parents stand up for your children, keep those strange men out of your homes and watch your brothers, uncles and cousins. Question your children and teach them about their bodies at an early age and this would help and most of all expose those culprits who are doing it, there is nothing to be afraid of.

Celery for bad breath
I would like to thank the person who posted the bad breath remedy several days ago.I must admit that I have a very stressful job and I work long hours. The dentist recommend prescription mouthwash which did not help. I brush my teeth three times a day, nothing worked and am so grateful that I tried this remedy and it helped I know longer have to put my hand over my mouth when I talk. Thank you.

Having sex with minors
It is with sadness that I'm writing this. Everyday as I open the news of Guyana on the net, it's always something about sexual intercourse with minor;, Why are we not concern, Why in God name more is not being done to punish and deal with this problem which is bring's same to our nation.
Parents open your eyes start believing in your kids protect your kids. The law need's to be harder with those who hurt our feature, meaning our kids. Lets our kids know it's not ok or we don't support what is being done to them. It's happen in family and trusted on so OPEN YOUR EYES.
If the is some we can do to stop this lets do it and take these PREV out of the home and out of social live.

Big Girls Pageant
i enjoy this event out of all de town week events and nothing is wrong with fat, but next year whoeva is responsible for choosing these contestants please choose some decent heavy women and not of them that are no role-model to anybody. A few of the contestants that were there should not be there. Big girls with good morals, characters and ambitions, please feel free to enter next year and show people what fat represents.
