More money
MAKE THE PIE HIGHER!

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
is our children learning?
Will the highways of the internet
become more few?

How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I'm a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.

I know that the human being
and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope.
Where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher!

To The doc.
If it was so good y the hell you had to run from guyana. the young people went to U G and cant even get work to do in linden they had to take their papers and put it under the bedOr go and cut the trees at the side of the road. when u go to the hospital it have a set of young people that cant even lift or turn patients and as soon as they finish they training the run from Guyana, now people dont even eat fatpoke or buck cashew they want the cashew nut in the tin. hey by the way why did u leave your country in the frist place if u are a doc, life should have been better for u and family. and when last u visit your country. sorry i dont want to make trouble. i came back after town and went home to get married in december so u see i am also home and i can tell hw hard it is for the lindeners.

At lease i have someone on my side. These people dont live in guyana but have a lot to say, u might by born at home but not living in Guyana and dont know what the hell lindeners facing. those were the days when people use to ride and walk we dont even have to eat when the day come much less to travel every day. when you go to town and look work it is $2.000 return what the hell u r working for just to pay transportation. with all the rape and robbery that is going on what the women will do. Yes i am not living in guyana but go home at lease 3 times a year and it is really hard. look at the water system you cant even turn on the top and get a proper day water supply and they talk about u have to pay water rate. let the people do what they have to do to get they right and justice.

Bus fare
The doctor is right. You talking about taking bus to go to the Ward. Its walking distance. We used to walk the distance, either by the back road or the highway. While on the back road you can pick fatpokes, buck cashew and even get a drink of the creek water. Yes. Healthy stuff.
Bicycles are cheap buy one and get fit when you ride up the ward hill. Which ever way, lets prepare for the World crisis, before its too late.
Ma people, no Government , no political party no man will help you. Keep the faith in the almighty and move on.Stop crying down the Governments. They cant do anything for u.

To Peter and Lindener
I don't mean to be bashful but you are such a sorry fellow; and to that Lindener that keeps fulling you up, are you blind to what's going on?

Peter is in the good ole' U.S of A and all he's saying is what is going on with OUR struggle...my question to you is: Is he really struggling with you? No he's not. He's struggling elsewhere.

I have to agree with the person named "wake up call"...you people have it so easy you don't even know. A trip to Georgetown at one time seemed to be alot but in good ole New York, people sit on the trains for hours with a bunch of "stinkas" to go find a job; you don't hear them complaining because they aren't being spoon-fed, they have to get up and get. So honey don't follow dear Peter because he knows what I'm speaking about.

Nothing is wrong with getting up on your own, don't be fooled; you'll reap more.

Our children and confrontation
When we have our children and they are engaged in illegal activities in school or school attire and the facts are distributed throughout the web via phone, internet or otherwise, we are not so confrontational, but instead we ship them to another country to avoid the embarrassments.
People we are what our children are and vice versa.
Wake up , wake up.

The persons who are suggesting to boycott Carifesta are not in the struggle. They are in the Caribbean,USA,Canada and UK. Lindeners u are living there and have to be proud, just don't worry with the them , they are happy souls.Okay my people. God is in charge and he will rescue us from the hands of the wicked. Confrontational
Confrontational persons will always be like that. They born, grow up and faced with confrontations, some they can handle some they cant and they resort to packing and shipping to another country. Any reminder my people.

If you have poor working conditions, poor salary and wages and unfair practices. There is a Labour Union to fight our cause. Labour is in accordance with a a Labour code. Did you know that?Just a add my bit and help for the sufferers.

Opportunities
You see you people cant see farther than your nose bridges. It is the same thing I was saying, we were deprived of opportunities, because we depended on the buaxite company, which would have failed any how. Why it is a natural resource and would have been all mined out eventually, because it is not replensihed.
I am notthe President, but I am a linden scholar. And u all know me.... I graduated from MHS in 1988 and is now a doctor in Botswana.
I wish to tell you that if opportunities exists in Gt, It is only 60 or more miles which can be covered in less than 2 hours.Go find a job in Gtown and travel to and from daily. In other countries, people travel miles and miles to get to work, distance is no excuse my people, wake up and help yourself , do not depend on the Government to make opportunities.
We can continue this argument, but lets not because I know your pains, I feel them, but go out get up and get. Support the Carifesta , it is ours, not the no party or President, Prime minister or Government, they all come and go but the feat will be an annual thing for us and our future generations to enjoy to its fullest.
My people, keep the faith and do not be confrontational, would take u anywhere Ms Cummings and others.

Lindener
As a Lindener living in Canada i am very sad to hear of all of the stuff that is going on in Linden i think that Linden needs more job opportunities for the citizens of Linden. My greatest dream is for Linden to be Linden again very rich and a very happy and healthy place to live and raise a family like in the old days (i could dream).

Re to Elect Cost
You sure sound like the President. We dont mind paying for the elect bill but wa we gon pay it with People salary is still the same for those who are working and for those who want to wrok and cant get, what the hell you and Jagdeo want we do. The GT people have a better opportunity than lindeners. When we plant the police raid the feild and thik is ganja we have and damage we farm and tek wa them want. Lindeners when the fest start block the streets the bridge stop run the boats. we ant celebrating nothing that ant helping we. block the highway road early.

Electricity Costs
Hey Lindeners,
We have to be practical and positive in this new development. Guymine was subsidizing electricity and other costs for Lindeners, when the others towns were not given the same opportunities and had to foot the ever so high electricity, water and other bills.
Its time we pay ,the others were paying but we did not undertsand what they were going through.
Why would we want to boycott Carifesta? No way it is our thing and Guyanese should come in our numbers to support the worthy venture, which was also one of the brainchild of the late Forbes Sampson Burnham.Guymine allowed us too many unwanted priveleges at whose cost? Us we are now feeling it, yes. They only subsidized for thier benefits. Remember Watooka Day School was only for the top kids, the Surapana Farm to give away meats for a certain postions, the Hospital supported them, and u can go on to name a few , they burn gas, burn tyres and other parts with those vehicles they drove up and down all at our costs, we are now paying for it. Yes. Sorry, but reality it here its not PPP, PNC, WPA its reality people, World crisis. Why the Gt and other towns are not cursing, they were paying it all the time. Buy gas stoves and stop using electricity stoves, its just expensive my people.
