Hair Extensions Glue
February 03, 2012: Here is a report from the UK's Daily Mail. Ain't this some ISH!!!
A woman died from a massive allergic reaction that could have been caused by the glue in her hair extensions, a pathologist said yesterday.
Atasha Graham, 34, who had used hair extensions for 14 years, collapsed after clubbing until the early hours.
Home Office pathologist Michael Heath told the inquest into her death that the latex glue used to apply her extensions – or the solvent for removing old ones – may have been to blame.
He added: ‘I’ve seen cases where people using solvent to apply extensions has actually caused anaphylactic shock.
‘There are about ten to 20 deaths a year in this country, many more in America. I have seen four in the last three months.’
Dr Heath told the hearing at Southwark Coroner’s Court in London: ‘The hair extensions in Atasha’s hair were of a latex type. This may or may not be related [to her death]. If it is the hair extension, normally a reaction would occur within half an hour of applying them.’
But he added that traces of glue or solvent could have seeped into her bloodstream hours later after she started perspiring on the dancefloor.

Nice seeing my people.
Well i really did enjoy the Linden fund breakfast morning recently. Seeing old faces was a pleasure and the lil gossips was too sweet. It was a pleasure seeing old couples still looking hot and the singles like their in real heat even when its cold. Yall look hot. It was'nt dissapointing to see madame steal your man was with that lady husband. We believed that she used to be ashamed of daddy bogolo so she not walking with him anymore or he learned his lesson and run for his life. I know she dared not put her hand on that woman husband in publek because this lady is so sick and the beating this time might cause Steal your man her life. GOSSIP IS GOOD
Melissa your advise was good but the gossip part u got to understand. Who do not gossip?, its like stress everyone got some level of stress and it was just revealed in a recent study that gossip is good. It depends on the type of gossip, if it is to defame another person or just discussions that can actually help others with their own problems. Cast the mote out of your own eyes before u try to fix others, all of u are a pack of gossip mongers so that advise right now is disqualified from you. My advice is when u gossip get your facts straight before u make judgement, Pur yourself in other ppl shoes before u become critical and just remember we are all different, no two peas are alike, that is what make gossip so sweet to some of us because those we gossip with do gossip about us. For the other stuff u talking about is only a change of heart could bring about tht and a total renewal by being born again in the holy ghost.Man is born and shaped in sin, evil thoughts and jealousies and wickedness would always be there, just be smart and save yourself and make a difference by becoming different and that could only be done through Jesus Christ becoming the most important focus of one life so get my facts straight. Prayers changes things
I can attest to the fact that prayers really work, we must have Faith, it goes hand in hand with prayers. Prayers electrify your spirit, I gaved away $ 20.00, part of my transportation money to a needy family, they prayed for me because they were so grateful .Lo and behold I found a dollar that same evening I gave it to a young man in my building who bought a scratch game and won $500.00 came looking for me the next day and handed me $250.00 .I was puzzled but months later my level of faith is raised. I have become a better person.

Remembering CD Singh.
CD Singh passed away in Toronto Canada on Dec 31/2011.
For a few of us who worked in Guymine Mines Technical Dept in the mid '70s and many of us working our first jobs out of school,we would remember Chandra Dutt Singh. Like me, he migrated to Canada in 1982. Some of the people we worked with are Mr Jaipaul, Mr Tait, the late Ed Bacchus, LK Gairy,Mr Greenidge, Mr Edgar McAlmont, the late Mr Sanker, Benjie the driver, Carmen, the late Ingrid Pollard, Hubert Blair, Miss Hintzen, Earl Waldron and Mr Adams. Condolences to his family. RIP.
