| GUYANAS' FIRST TRICYCLE TRANSPORT BUSINESS |

Mr. Seon Simple also known as “Anto” hails from the community of Christiansburg, Wismar in Linden and may well be the first person in Guyana to have a business transporting passengers and goods from a TRICYCLE.
For only one hundred Guyana dollars Seon’s Transportation Service offers to transport you and your goods within a 2 miles area. His regular routes are along Burnham Drive on the Wismar shore, Silvertown, West Wotooka and Christiansburg.
Seon explained that his idea came from Venezuela where he visits often and still currently runs a similar business there with persons working on his behalf when he is in Guyana.
“Business is good don’t mind I get some disgusting customers that does stress me out sometimes” Seon said. He estimates that he makes about fourteen hundred dollars per day.
He is aspiring to expand his transportation services to the Mackenzie shore soon. |

Employment opportunities
The Codrington School, the only International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Barbados, seeks the services of qualified teachers for the following positions in August 2010. Applications are particularly encouraged from Barbadian teachers or from teachers who have the right to live and work in Barbados.
For all positions, applicants should preferably have IB training and/or experience at either MYP or DP level. The successful applicants will each hold at least an initial degree in the area for which they apply – a master’s degree is preferred - and a teaching qualification. Middle years/upper years teacher of mathematics. Must have successful experience in teaching mathematics at all secondary school levels, including pre-university (“form six”).
All-school teacher of music. The ability to offer drama as well as music would be an advantage.
Middle years teacher of English and mathematics. The ability also to offer Spanish at upper primary level would be an advantage but is not necessary.

I am very proud of you. You should try to expand your business with at least four tricycles. That is big money in New York , we have that in Manhattan. I think your price is too low for 2 miles, it should be at least two hundred dollars. I will support you when I come for town week. keep it up and expand the business. Hello Seon.
Its very nice to see you are doing something in a positive way. Especially when you are giving the people of Linden another mode of transportation.
I left Linden 32 years ago formally a star athelete for the region from MHS.
Goodluck and hold your head up high at all times and just ignore all of the negative people who show how lack of class they have. Happy New Year 2010.

Wow! This is great, in Florida we use that at lot of entertainment places. Its nice for foreingner when they are in Guyana to show them around. I will be home for Christmas and I am surely gonna go on a joy ride. (not that I dont know Linden) I know it will be fun. They use horse drawn cart over her too. We pay $30 for a 15 minutes ride. I will be looking for you Seon |
